This Welcome to Nursery 2026 booklet gives you all the information you need for your child to begin their journey at Dorchester Primary School.
Activities to prepare for nursery with your child
Our Let's Get Ready for Nursery booklet contains the things you should do with your child between now and September to make sure they are ready for a smooth transition into Nursery.
In addition, these activities are fantastic for you to have lots of fun with your child and help them to get off to a flying start.

Dorchester Primary School – Charges for the extended day
Children attending for the fully funded 30 hours per week will attend daily between 08:30am and 14:30pm.
All charges below (aside from the End of Day club) are applicable only to children who are not attending for fully funded 30 hours per week.
