Netball A + B Matches vs Stanley Park

We are all about the progress at the moment in terms of netball and yesterday certainly delivered that.

More tough opponents who played some lovely technical netball and were worthy winners, but the matches saw a real improvement on our performances from last week and more encouraging play overall. We had to make some changes to how we lined up positionally and everyone approached this really positively and to good result. I was really pleased with how everyone settled and worked together to adapt to those different team formations. The level of focus was so much better yesterday, everyone stayed calmer and played in a much more positive way – even when the score lines got away from us a bit – and this is an important lesson to learn, we have to keep working and bring our A game to the final whistle despite the result.

We go again next Thursday in our last League game of the season and hopefully we can take the step forward from yesterday into that game and see some more positive progress in our play.
