Year 6s boys football vs St Dunstans

A tale of two halves…again

The Year 6s travelled to Brookfield Primary to kick off their lead campaign against St Dunstans, looking to avenge their defeat they were handed in the cup last calendar year. The first half started very brightly with Dorchester dominating the early exchanges, and they finally made the breakthrough when Danny fizzed the ball across the box for an unmarked Archie to fire the ball home to spark the early celebrations. However, it was St Dunstans who came out fighting in the second half and thoroughly deserved to equalise after a period of sustained pressure. With the minutes dwindling until full time, it was late heart break again as in injury time St Dunstans found a late winner to break Dorchester hearts again. Man of the match Teddy P for a string of fabulous saves to keep us in the game. Thanks to all who attended for your continued support and we look to get back to winning ways in our next league encounter.
