What writings are important to Hindus and why?
It's been another busy week of learning in Year 5, with wonderful writing, amazing history, North American geography and much more.
This week, we have carried on drafting our 'Below Deck' Star Write, before publishing our work in our very first assessed piece of writing in Year 5. We have used expanded noun phrases, show not tell, and managed our control of tenses, to write a diary entry as Grace from the famous vessel. We all did so well!
In Maths, we have continued to look at place value, particularly rounding numbers. We have also been looking at the human features of North America. Can you remember any of them?
