What are the key features of a relative clause?

This week in Year 5, we have started reading ‘The Girl of Ink and Stars’ and started practising using expanded noun phrases and relative clauses again to enhance the description in our writing, which will be a focus for this narrative writing unit. In Maths, we have been adding and subtracting with decimils within 1, using various duifferent units of measure including money and weight. In Science, we have started our new Space topic and begun by creating ouw own papier mache planets to help us remember their namers and position in our solar system. In PSHE, we talked about what democracy is and how our country is run by the government and how elections work, in groups children came up with party names and wrote manifestos for others to vote on.
