Year 2: How can I do different jobs in a group?

This week the children took part in a team drawing exercise, where they had to think about how to communicate and describe pictures to another. They took turns with the different roles in their team and fed back to each other what went well and what they could try differently next time.

We discussed that in order to be an effective team member, sometimes we lead, and other times we listen. We need to take turns with different roles so that everyone feels like they have had a chance to try and show what they can do. We need to show that we can empathise with other people and think about their feelings in a situation.
