What are the features of a diary?

In Maths this week, the children have been consolidating their knowledge of numbers to 10 and 100 and spotting the similarities between each of them. They have written question and exclamation sentences in English and have begun to look at the features of a diary in preparation for writing their own one next week. In Geography, they used Google Maps to look at an aerial view of London and spotted the natural and human landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace and the River Thames. They have finally discovered who may have stolen the missing chocolate cake in Computing, by analysing the list of suspects and organising the information into a spreadsheet. In Science, they looked at how to change materials and in PSHE, they looked at what makes each of them special and unique. They used Children’s Bibles in RE to read the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and related this to how they can be kind and generous in their own lives. The children have produced some lovely work again this work, good job!
