Nursery: What different things do Firefighters do to help people?

This week in nursery, the children have been role-playing different scenarios and thinking about how firefighters and police officers help people. We have learnt that you can ask a Police officer for help if you are lost and firefighters can help people if they are trapped. The children have also been developing their finger muscles; using syringes to make hoses as they squirt rhyming pairs on flames. We cannot wait for our Superhero Day next week! We are going to dress up as fictional superheroes or real life people who help us.
