Farmyard Hullabaloo

This week in Nursery we have been thinking about different animals that live on the farm. We have been reading the story of Farmyard Hullabaloo by Giles Andreae. The children have learnt what each of the farm animals are called and they have learnt the vocabulary for the baby animals too. The children have been developing their fine motor skills by milking the cows in our outside area and making play dough farm animals. They have also made their own animal puppets and they have been washing some of the dirty animals. We have also been learning about all of the different jobs that the farmer has to do to look after the animals, including picking up poo!
