Oliver's Fruit Salad

This week in Nursery we have been learning about different fruits and how they grow. We have found out that bananas are actually berries and pineapples grow when lots of different flowers fuse together. We have been thinking about which fruits grow well in England and which fruits grow better in hotter countries. We have been reading the story 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' and the children have all enjoyed drawing picture representations to show which fruits they would like to include in their fruit salad. We then made delicious fruit salads and enjoyed tasting different fruits. For our maths learning we have been learning all about the number 4 and different ways that it can be made.
