A new text, Roman Numerals, teeth and Calypso! All in a week's learning!
Year 4 has had a great week getting stuck into a new book in English - The Barnabus Project. We have been using our best reading skills to understand the story and characters. In Maths, we have started our new unit on addition and subtraction, reminding ourselves of Roman numerals and how they work. In Science, we learnt about the different types of teeth we have and how we use them for different jobs. In Music, we travelled to the Caribbean to learn a Calypso song called Mango Walk on our ukuleles. In PSHE we thought about how we recognise fake news and the best way of making informed choices. The Roman invasion of Britain was the main focus in our History lesson this week.
