Year 2: Are there any food chains happening in our allotment?

Our carrot seeds are growing well. We know that the sun is giving them energy, and that we will receive that energy when we eat the carrots!    Sun ->  carrots ->  humans (us!)

We came up with some other examples of food chains, such as:

Sun -> carrots -> rabbit -> fox

Sun -> carrots ->  slug ->  bird -> owl
