Year 2: What is a day in the life of a Chinese student like, and how does it compare to your school day?​​​​​​​

This week in Geography we compared our school day with a typical Chinese school day. 

There are lots of similarities and differences to our school days. Some similarities are: wearing uniforms, learning maths and literacy skills, as well as a range of foundation lessons. Some differences are: Chinese school days are usually longer, their breaks are guided movement rather than free time, and they do homework in their lunch breaks.

The children enjoyed discussing what they liked and disliked about our school and a Chinese school day.
