What did we learn from Florence Nightingale this week?

This week the children in Year 2 had an excellent time meeting Florence Nightingale! We got to meet her and listen to her life story, which included acting out some of the characters with her. We then were able to explore the museum and go on a scavenger hunt to find items around the museum- there was even a section to dress up! We were able to ask her different questions about her life too.

The children represented the school very well, and although Mrs Horne couldn't join us this time, Miss Flint said Topaz Class were fantastic. Well done Year 2, and thank you to all the parents who came along and helped keep the children safe on the day.
