Year 2: How would we use common map symbols to show the features of Worcester Park on a map?

This week we had the opportunity to go and explore our local area. The children were challenged to find human and physical features of Worcester park. We found key buildings like our school, churches and shops, and the park was certainly a welcome addition to the trip!

Thanks to everyone who came to help keep the children safe as we walked. 

We then spent the next part of our day looking at the photos we took, and making maps with keys on them, to help us remember where we went.
