Reception: Which part of celebrating Lunar New Year did you enjoy most?

This week the children have been learning about the Lunar New Year.  We learnt about who celebrates it and  how a family prepares for the celebration. We have practised our cutting skills making lanterns, our folding skills making dragons and envelopes and we have painted Chinese numbers. We have also been practising our fine motor skills this week using chopsticks to carefully pick up beads and pom-poms.
