First game of the season for our year 5 & 6 Girls football team.

🌟 Girls’ Football Team – First Match of the Season! 🌟

What an exciting afternoon for our girls as they stepped onto the pitch for their very first football match of the season! From the first whistle to the last, the team showed tremendous effort, determination, and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see how they supported each other, communicated on the field, and put into practice everything they’ve been working on during training.

One of the standout moments of the game came from Aiya, whose fantastic long throw-in cut through the opposition’s defence and created a brilliant scoring opportunity. Dolly was perfectly positioned to make the most of it, striking the ball confidently into the back of the net to secure our goal of the match! Maya helped at the other end and made some impressive saves to keep us in the game. ⚽👏

The game finished with a well-deserved 1–1 draw, a result that truly reflects the team’s hard work, resilience, and positive attitude. For their first outing together, the girls showed impressive teamwork and great promise for the rest of the season.

We are incredibly proud of each and every player. Their energy, sportsmanship, and willingness to keep pushing forward made today a wonderful start to their football journey. 

Our Dorchester sports teams are still undefeated in all sports so far this academic year!
