Year 3 and Year 4 Sports Day

Year 3 & 4 Sports Day was very hotly contested – the winning House pipping the next team to the trophy by just one point!

The stand out from this event was the way in which every single child took part in their events with such enthusiasm and commitment to the day and also how many also wanted to take part in the additional sprint, lap and relay events after the main rotation. It really was great to see the children so involved in taking part and bringing so much positivity and enthusiasm to the morning – this is exactly why we hold sports days and the opportunity they give all the children, without exception, the chance to experience being able to compete, contribute to their team and feel a real sense of achievement in giving the events their personal best.

This was a closely fought competition, well done to everyone, but the overall winners this year were Yippy (Yellow House).
