Yr 5 & 6 Sports Morning 2025
What a glorious day for Sports Day! The sun shone and the children in Year 5 and 6 brought the heat onto the track to produce an exciting morning of events.
All the children competed in sprint and hurdles races before we moved onto some slightly longer events and then some hotly contested relays. It was great to see the year groups out together cheering on their house teams and encouraging their classmates; there was a lovely atmosphere and some really great effort from the runners. As a whole, it was a good example of perseverance, determination, team spirit and enthusiasm – which I hope our Year 6s will take with them into their next Sports Day at their new secondary schools!

Well done to all the children for their brilliant performances and a big thank you to the families who came to support and encouraged everyone so positively.
