Who were the Romans?

The children have settled remarkably well into their daily routines and classroom expectations, demonstrating exemplary focus and enthusiasm. To consolidate their scientific knowledge, pupils engaged in a collaborative recap of the human skeleton, working in teams to illustrate and label life-sized diagrams. This practical exercise allowed them to confidently demonstrate their prior learning while developing key teamwork skills. This week, we were excited to introduce our new history unit on the Romans. The pupils will begin exploring the scale and impact of the Roman Empire, laying the foundation for a term of engaging historical enquiry.
