What did you learn at Hampton Court Palace?

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Hampton Court Palace this week. Despite the hot weather, the children behaved brilliantly and coped extremely well in the heat, showing resilience and maturity throughout the day.

The workshop was a real highlight, where the children had the opportunity to examine Tudor artefacts and use evidence to form their own opinions about King Henry VIII and his reign. They impressed the staff with their thoughtful ideas and enthusiasm for learning.

The children also loved exploring the palace and seeing first-hand many of the places they have been learning about in class. It was wonderful to bring our Tudor topic to life and create memories that will support their learning for years to come.
