Nursery: Can you continue the pattern?

This week in Nursery, we have been enjoying Christmas celebrations.  We have been thinking about different things that people do to celebrate Christmas. The children have enjoyed decorating the Nursery tree and then changing the decorations each day. We have also been learning about repeating patterns and the children have been creating their own decorations using repeating patterns too.

We have all been working really hard to get ready for our Nativity and we cannot wait to show the rest of the school on Monday. We will then be performing for our families on Tuesday and Wednesday. The children have learnt the Nativity story and why Christmas is important to Christians. The nativity songs have really helped them to remember key parts of the story.
