Nursery: Can you sing our good morning or good afternoon song using makaton actions?

This week in Nursery, we have enjoyed learning our new ‘Good morning and Good afternoon songs’. We are learning to say hello, good morning and good afternoon using Makaton. We are also able to use Makaton to ask each other ‘how are you?’ Makaton is a language programme that combines signs, symbols and speech to give different options for people to communicate. Please see photographs below to practise these actions with your child. We have also used our good morning/good afternoon song to support the children to talk about their feelings. Next week we will be learning more about the Zones of Regulation and how they can be used to talk about our feelings and how we can regulate them. We will also be learning more about the school rules.
