Which countries can you name in Europe?

Year 3 have been busy geographers this week, working together to create a giant map of Europe! Using their knowledge of the cardinal compass directions (North, East, South and West), the children located different countries and described their positions in relation to one another. They also explored the location of Europe on a world map, identifying that our continent is situated in the Northern Hemisphere. A fantastic opportunity to develop their map-reading skills and geographical vocabulary!
