Nursery: Can you sing our good morning or good afternoon song?

This week in Nursery, we have enjoyed learning our good morning song. We are leaning to say hello, good morning and good afternoon using Makaton. Makaton is a language programme that combines signs, symbols and speech to give different options for people to communicate. The children have really enjoyed using Makaton to say hello to each other. Please see photographs below. As part of this song, the children have also learnt to talk about their feelings. Next week we will be learning about the Zones of Regulation and how we can use these to help us to talk about how we feel. We will also be looking at our school rules Ready, Respectful and Safe.

The children have also continued to explore the different parts of our continuous provision, they have particularly enjoyed making some lovely concoctions in our mud kitchen.
