Reception: What do plants need to grow?

Following on from last week’s bus journey through London, we have been making and labelling our own maps of London. It was lovely to see how many of the children remembered the landmarks that they had learnt about last week, such as Big Ben, inside the Queen Elizabeth Tower, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Tower of London. We have also planted beans as we learn about what plants need to grow.
