Nursery: What do you like to do on holiday?

This week in Nursery we have been continuing to talk about the holidays and different places that we have visited. We have looked at a map of the United Kingdom and we know that we live in England. We also know that our school is in Worcester Park and it is close to London which is the capital city of England. Although the weather in England has been quite rainy this week, we have been thinking about summer holidays and things that we like to do when the weather is warmer. We have made ice lollies and beach scenes using a variety of creative resources. We have also explored shaving foam, using it to make ice creams (but, of course, we didn’t eat them, that would be disgusting!).
We have also been working really hard to practise our letter formation, focusing on the curly letters that we have learnt so far: c, a and d. We have been practising these letters with fingers in glitter, with chalk and large paintbrushes in the garden and in the air with magic doodle pens.
