What did you learn at the Buddhist Temple?

Year 3 had a fantastic and memorable trip to the Buddhist Temple on Tuesday as part of their learning about Buddhism. The children were excited to explore the temple, learn about Buddhist beliefs and traditions, and experience a place of worship first-hand. During the visit, they had the wonderful opportunity to meet Buddhist monks, who spoke to the children about their daily lives, meditation and the importance of kindness and respect in Buddhism.

The children impressed everyone with their curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful and insightful questions throughout the visit. They particularly enjoyed learning about  the meaning behind some of the Buddhist symbols they saw around the temple. The experience helped to bring their classroom learning to life and gave them a deeper understanding of another religion and culture.

We were incredibly proud of the children for the way they conducted themselves during the trip. Their behaviour was exemplary, and they represented the school brilliantly by showing respect, excellent listening skills and great manners throughout the day. Well done, Year 3!
