Mini London Marathon ‘26

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday with our Team of Dorchester runners!

Once again, the event didn’t disappoint; the buzz of the marathon weekend was infectious and our children were full of energy and enthusiasm for their race.

It really is a fantastic experience for everyone involved, runners and spectators alike, with 19,645 children crossing the finish line in this year’s event! You can’t help but feel uplifted and inspired by the sheer scale, positive vibes and determination of all those taking part.

Mrs Bell, Riad and Mrs Glover ran the course with the team, who had been working hard to prepare over the previous half-term twice a week in Riad’s training Camp to get Race-fit! All our runners made excellent times and completed their races confidently, finishing past Buckingham Palace and taking cheers and applause from the Grandstand as they crossed the finish line on The Mall – what amazing memories to make!

This is a brilliant opportunity for our children, and we hope that our team’s achievements this year have encouraged lots more of the children to put themselves forward for a chance to get involved next year.
