Who was Zeus?

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Ancient Greek gods and their powers. They created detailed fact files and even took part in a question-and-answer activity, asking Zeus thoughtful questions about his role and abilities.

In English, we have been focusing on using the present perfect tense. The children particularly enjoyed taking their learning outdoors, where they practised speaking in full sentences to explain what they have been doing using this tense.

In Maths, we have been exploring money. The children have been developing their skills in adding and subtracting amounts, as well as converting between pounds and pence with increasing confidence.
