 There were a few lovely passages of play today where the team brought the ball down court effortlessly - good timing, accurate passing and solid footwork all on show. Overall though we just couldn’t repeat that enough times to be able to compete with a very determined opposition. We didn’t match their energy today but had we been more consistent and careful with our passing it could still have been a closer game.
The second half saw a much better performance from the Dorchester team - we were more dynamic and looked much more like being able to make a comeback. Unfortunately that was not to be today but it was good to see the team able to make some positional changes, cope with that well and actually use them to good effect too.
Well done to Darcey, Sophia, Juliette, Ora, Darcy-Mae, Tommie, Tiya and Mariana.

B team
Lost 4-1
 A slightly closer game for the B team and, again, a stronger second half where everyone brought more determination and energy. We were quicker to the ball and fought for interceptions, putting much more pressure on the opposition.
We also could have brought a bit more movement to the court when offering for the ball, although footwork was very good in this game too, and continuing to practise and work on having really solid passing and receiving skills will stand us in such good stead.
A very good effort all-round so well done to Hala, Mariana, Logan, Bay, Tommie, Jessica and Naya.
