Year 5 - What happened during the last week of Jesus' life?

This past week has been a busy one in Year 5. We had a visit from the Wonderdome, where we learnt more about the solar system and planets. It was just like looking at the night sky through a telescope. Truly amazing! The next day we went to Sutton Schools Work to see their retelling of the Easter story. It was totally interactive where we moved around the building as if we were travelling with Jesus and his disciples around to different sights of the events that happened during the last week of Jesus' life. Some of us were market vendors, disciples, members of the crowd, soldiers and women that visited the empty tomb. We had some very thoughtful questions and learnt a lot about why some of the characters we see in the Easter story did what they did and how they felt about it.
