Who was Tutankhamun and why was the discovery of his tomb important?

This week we have been learning about Howard Carter and why his discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb was important.  We then created interviews with Howard Carter asking about his discovery.  

In English, we have been continuing our research on Ancient Egypt and looking and Tutankhamun's life and why he was famous.  We have also been learning more about the mummification process and have tried to sequence the instructions and explain them.  Next week we will be writing up the mummification process, so please ask your child if they remember the events.

In Forest School we were making flowers and created beautiful tulips!
