World Book Day - Thursday 5th March

The second week of Spring 2 is Book Week. As always, your child can dress up as a favourite book character.

There is an option, however, for your child to dress on theme, this year we will be using 'Begin Again' by Oliver Jeffers. It explores themes of hope, renewal and the responsibility we all have for the world.

At the start of the book, there is a quote from one of Mary Oliver's poems: "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" Therefore, the theme which children can choose to explore for their World Book Day (5th March) costumes is: "My Wild and Precious Life".
