Year 5 - What have we been doing with our Little Friends?

This week we met with our little friends from Reception to make Christmas hats for our Christmas lunch today. We used a range of collage materials, and they really did shine! We have been writing and publishing our Star Write diary entry about a survivor of The Titanic. We used our best emotional language through show not tell. In Geography, we have been thinking about our planet – especially the Great Pacific Garbage Patch which can be found between Hawaii and California. We were really challenged to think about how much we recycle and how much rubbish goes to the landfill. This is something we should all think about.
