Year 5 - What is BFLF?

In Year 5, we start a project called "Big Friends, Little Friends" (BFLF), which is when we partner Year 5 children with children in the Reception classes. Throughout the year we will be working on different projects which will go across many areas of the curriculum. This project really helps to foster a deeper sense of community across the school. This week we met our new friends for the first time, where we played together, coloured pictures together, made a whole range of things in the mud kitchen, buried treasure in the sand and even rode tandem on bikes. The hope is that these friendships will really build into something special as the year progresses.
