Dorchester 6 - 1 Devonshire 

What a great start to the netball season!
Most of our team today were playing their first netball match representing Dorchester and we’d set out with the main aim of taking some of the good work the team had been working on in training onto court competitively - and they certainly didn’t disappoint! Footwork was excellent - so tidy and controlled! - and the team played calmly and sensibly, moving into space well and keeping possession of the ball. The defence - Tiya, Tommie and Darcy-Mae - made life difficult for the opposition, picking up interceptions and turning the ball over well. In attack we used the space confidently and the feeding into the circle from Ora and Juliette was strong and accurate. Sophia and Darcey combined brilliantly in the circle, moving and working together to get the ball under the post and create lots of shooting opportunities.
You should all be so pleased and proud of yourselves for such great effort and playing such lovely netball - you couldn’t have done better!
Very well done to Darcey, Sophia, Juliette, Ora, Darcy-Mae, Tommie and Tiya!
