How did you make your vegetable tart?

The children have all had a brilliant week. We begun the week with a DT day with a unit on cooking. We peeled and chopped different vegetables before tasting them. The children all tried new vegetables, including spinach, spring onions, cauliflower, cabbage and radishes. We then looked at the nutritional value of them before designing our own vegetable tarts. They all loved creating their tarts and tasting them!
Orange Class were also excited to go on their trip to Pizza Express. They learnt how to knead dough and about the ingredients needed to make a pizza. They loved having them for lunch later that day. Thank you to the parents for supporting us on the trip!
