Year 5 What is a news report?

To conclude our work on Hacker by Malorie Blackman, we wrote and presented news reports. We thought about being an anchor in the newsroom, as well as being reporters out on location. We interviewed a variety of  witnesses to the case from the book. This was a great book and we really enjoyed reading it through our lessons. We celebrated the life of Malorie Backman in a whole school assembly this week. This week we have started our new learning about North America.
