Year 5 - What is one point perspective?

This week we have have been inspired by "A regatta on the Grand Canal" by Canaletto, as part of the Take One Picture project. We have learned that the picture was painted with one point perspective - a single point that the eye is drawn to in the distance. We then created our own pictures ising this same technique. We discovered that it is a technique many artists use to create depth in their art work.
