Is your child eligible for extra funding?

Pupil Premium is extra funding schools in the UK receive from the government to support children from low-income families or in particular circumstances, so they have the same opportunities as others.

Who can apply?

Your child may be eligible if you receive certain benefits, such as:

  • Universal Credit (with an annual income below £7,400 after tax, not including benefits)

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Child Tax Credit (without Working Tax Credit, and income below £16,190)

Children in care, adopted from care, or with a parent in the armed forces may also qualify.
