Reception: How can you show you are respectful?

This week the children were fascinated by the arrival of tree surgeons who were helping landscape the KS2 playgound. The wood chipper was just beyond our gates and was very loud!

The children are continuing to settle well as they take on the challenge of whole days at school. We have witnessed lots of collaboration and new friendships being made. The children are talking to each other and organising their 'Play and Learn' activities between themselves. We have been talking about our school rules or Ready, Respectful and Safe - thinking about how we respond to each other and how we use school resources, so that we have happy, productive and industrious classrooms, treating everyone and everything with respect.
