Year 2: What did you learn at the Tower of London?

On Thursday, Year 2 were fortunate enough to go to the Tower of London. We had the opportunity to visit on VE Day, which meant we got to see the ceramic poppies on display, and observed our 2 minute silence with the rest of the visitors.

We also took part in the Tower's 'Fire, Fire!' workshop, and learned more about what happened during the Great Fire of London.  The children were able to show off what they already knew and impressed us with their knowledge. We had a great time and we are very grateful to the parents who came to support us.
