Spelling Bee 2025

This week, the finalists from each class from Year 1 to 6 took part in the fourth annual Dorchester Spelling Bee! After weeks of preparation, these fantastic spellers took to the microphone and spelt words from their year group’s common exception words. 

The finalists were Frankie (Red), Ruby (Rose), Zachy (Buttercup), Shubhay (Topaz), Sannidhi (Orange), Luanessa (Amber), Theo (Fern), Reuben (Green), Idris (Emerald), Pharrell (Blue), Joshua (Sapphire), Shreeyansh (Indigo), Nuwi (Purple), Ishaani (Lavender) and Preethishri (Amethyst). 

After spelling many words and using them in fantastic sentences, our Bronze winner was Sannidhi, our Silver winner was Preethishri and our overall, Gold winner this year was Pharrell!
