Nursery: How can you use your super powers to help others?
This week in Nursery, we have been reading different superhero stories and thinking about different superhero characters. We have been thinking about the different superpowers that heroes have and how they use their powers to help people. We have been thinking about how we can help each other. The children have also been thinking about colours and shapes when painting different characters. For our maths learning, we have been thinking about numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4. We have been thinking about different ways to make and represent each of these numbers. We have also been counting out the correct number of objects to match quantity to the numerals. For our Phonics learning, we have been thinking about the ‘g’ phoneme and words that start with g. We have also learnt a new move in ‘Squiggle while you Wiggle,’ the children have learnt how to draw spirals. Next week we will be reading Mr Wolf’s Pancakes as we celebrate Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday).
