Dear Dorchester Families,

It was lovely to welcome so many of you to our Parent Consultation Evenings this week.  It is always a pleasure to see children proudly sharing their work with their parents and carers and to see so many beaming faces coming out of meetings.  Thank you, as always, for your generous book fair purchases.  The school receives a good amount of commission for every book sold, which we can use to further enhance our reading offer at school.

The half-term is flying by, but there are lots of exciting events coming up in the next couple of weeks – with trips to the Tate Modern and Wisley, Cross Country competitions and our first 'Headteacher for a Day' of this academic year to name but a few.  We are so blessed to have teachers and staff who go the extra mile to bring learning to life for our children.

Have a lovely weekend.

Cathy Bell
Headteacher

✨ Support Our School with Personalised Gifts! ✨

Your child should have brought home their 'Celebration card' template.

You can order unique personalised cards and gifts featuring your child’s own artwork. Not only do they make wonderful keepsakes for family and friends, but every order helps raise vital funds for our school.

💖 Treasured memories for you
🎁 Thoughtful presents for loved ones
🏫 Extra funds for our children’s learning

It’s a simple way to give something special while supporting our PTA. Thank you for helping us make a big difference!

Any items ordered allow FODS to receive a % of the profit – these funds really help us to support our school. It's simple – the quicker and more we order – the more profit we can make.

There are some wonderful items to order;

This will only affect a small number, but please remember that if your child designed their card 'landscape', we would advise only ordering cards, paper, tags or magnets – otherwise the image will appear 'sideways' - and choose for the inside of cards to be blank.
