Which Maya god interested you the most and why?

In English this week, the children have been writing their recounts, based on our book, 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'. Their use of emotive language and semicolons and colons has really developed, and we are all proud of their progress. Some have been writing as one of the two children and a few have pretended to be the evil Count Olaf himself, allowing for much sarcasm to be included. In Maths, we have moved on from Fractions exclusively, to their link with decimals and the children have enjoyed making excellent progress quickly in this area, with some exploring some very challenging problem-solving puzzles too. Our Science topic this half term is all about Classification and whilst they know a lot about plants and animal groups from their prior learning, the children have enjoyed finding out about Microorganisms. They were interested to find out about the different types and how this related to Covid-19. In RE, the children have been exploring what the Bible teaches Christians about the Holy Spirit.
