How does the mouse scare the creatures in the Gruffalo?

In English, we have been reading the story of 'The Gruffalo' and using actions to help us retell the story. The children have spent time thinking about questions to ask the Gruffalo and other characters in the story. They have worked extremely hard on their writing and written all about their half-term break.

In Maths, we have been looking at sharing into equal groups. The children have shared the food between the teddy bears and mini beasts. We are going to continue to work on this next week as it has been quite tricky. 
We have introduced our topic 'Enchanted Woodlands' and discussed what the children want to learn.
