This week, we have been reading the story 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes. We have been created our own traps to catch the Iron Man and stop him from eating all the farmers' metal machinery. We will be writing instructions about how to build our traps next week. In Maths, we have been learning our times tables and trying to find links between them to help us remember them even better. It was Transgender awareness week this week, so we read lots of stories to help us understand what it means and thought about what it means to be ourselves. In Geography, we learned about the inside of a volcano and why it erupts. We have also used papier mache to create our own volcanoes which we will erupt soon. In our Science lesson, we learned about different states of matter and how things can move between each of these states through heating and cooling.
