Fulham FC International Women's Day event

We were given the great opportunity to take part in a celebration of football organised by Fulham FC at their training ground in Motspur Park this week.

Aimed at girls in Year 3 and 4, our fabulous group were able to learn some football basics through a range of fun activities and games led by the community coaching team. The girls brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the morning, really throwing themselves into all the stations! The progress they made in terms of specific skills but also how their confidence grew throughout the event was great to see – this was such a good example of making the most of an opportunity that had been given, and what better way to mark International Women’s Day than that! Everyone did so well but Eliza also was awarded a special values certificate for showing consistent Fair Play across the morning.

Our super ambassadors for Dorchester were Daisy- Mae, Eliza, Erda, Darcy-Mae, Jennevieve, Sophia, Bay, Emilie and Freya – great work girls!
